Fxith X Hxpe Pick Their Poison: The Toad from ‘Five Deadly Venoms To Shoot Rap Video with Duo

Long-time Hong Kong martial arts movie fan Fxith AKA Kyle Logan got to meet one of his idols, Shaw Brothers kung fu star Lo Mang. Kyle gifted the ‘Five Deadly Venoms’ star a Fxith X Hxpe hoodie, and discussed classic Hong Kong kung fu movies and an upcoming music video project.

Fxith X Hxpe Blow the Speakers at Sound Department

Calvin and Kyle lifted the roof off Central’s Sound Department Club, delivering a set of new and old material to a packed house. The event was promoted by BlocPartyGroup, and brought together a killer line-up of Hong Kong-based rap and hip-hop artistes.

Rock Out For Dopeonesnft with DJ Crystal

Calvin and Kyle took one small step into the crypto zone when they met the movers and shakers of Dopeonesnft in Hong Kong’s Soho district. The guys demoed a couple of tracks with top local MC DJ Crystal, who is already a local hip-hop legend, including their club hit ‘Eurasian’.

Fxithxhxpe get ‘Vandalised’ by UK fan!

Newcastle-based Chris Evans (not the Captain America guy!) is a super fan of Fxithxhxpe, whom he first met on a visit to Hong Kong. As a project to show his support for the guys, Chris has remixed a dozen of their songs under the title ‘Vandalised’.

Fxithxhxpe Looking For Love To ‘Guide Me Through’ Their New Single

Fxithxhxpe show their kinder, gentler side with ‘Guide Me Through’, a new track that has already been chosen by Spotify to feature on one of their curated Playlists. “This is a song about someone who has found the person they feel is the love of their life,” says Calvin / Fxith, “and then has to live without them.” ‘Guide Me Through’ was produced by locally based rap prodigy JJ who, though still in his teens, has already proved his chops as a mixer. The anime-style lyric video for the track was edited by Isaiah Nocedo, and the cover art was created by Taia.

Legendary Hong Kong Director Vincent Kok Visits

Vincent Kok Tat-chiu is one of Hong Kong’s best-loved comedy directors, and a long -time collaborator of the great Stephen Chiau, for whom he directed the classic ‘Forbidden City Cop’. Vincent also made the Jackie Chan hit ‘Gorgeous’, and is a well- known OG on the Hong Kong club and hip hop music scene. He hung out with Kyle (AKA Hxpe) at the boys Kwai Fong studio and shared tales of the famed Hong Kong rap acts LMF and 14Herbs. Naturally, Vincent was delighted to get his designer Fxithxhxpe hoodie, and here’s hoping the guys can collaborate in the near future!

A Star is Bjorn : Meeting a friend in need…

Calvin and Kyle were happy to meet a fan and make a new friend when they went to visit Bjorn Lipinski. He is a Hong Kong-based youngster bravely battling a rare form of bone cancer. Fxithxhxpe had a great chat with Bjorn, and played him some of their unreleased tracks. He also got a Fxithxhxpe hoodie and, as he is a huge fan of soccer, a ball signed by the boys. Calvin and Kyle would like to reach out to all their other friends and fans to donate to Bjorn’s gofundme campaign to help his family meet the cost of his surgery.

FxithxHxpe boogie on by the Big Buddha on second stage of ‘Eurasian’ video shoot

FxithxHxpe hit Hong Kong’s Po Lin Monastery with director Aakarsh Bhatnagar to film the second day of their ‘Eurasian’ music video shoot. The monastery features one of Hong Kong’s most distinctive landmarks, The Big Buddha, which provided a stunning backdrop for the clip.

Fxithxhxpe preach ‘No H4te’ in video shoot with Ukrainian director Anna Savelyeva!

Fxith and Hxpe hit the skateboard park to shoot a new music video for “No H4te” with Hong Kong based director Anna Savelyeva. The clip was shot at the Kwai Fong skate park, with local skateboarders tricking in the background.

‘Eurasian’ Music Video Shoot

Fxith&Hxpe blew the roof off the SpaceX club when they played at the Urban Culture Vol. 2 staged by the Bloc Party Group. SpaceX is a relatively new performance space on Wyndham Street, located directly below Central’s iconic dragon-I nightclub.
